Manager, the Senior CNC Machinist/Programmer will produce machined
parts by programming, if qualified, setting up, and/or operating
either a conventional, numerical control (NC), or computer
numerical control (CNC) machine; maintain quality and safety
standards; precisely follow job packet requirements; keep records;
maintain equipment and supplies; communicate effectively and work
productively with Engineers, maintenance personnel, and other
operators/programmers. Perform machining tasks to tight tolerance,
minimize scrap and rework, perform PMs on regular basis, lead
machine safety and workplace compliance requirements, always
demonstrate professional conduct, maintain an inventory of tooling
and fixtures, work effectively with vendors in ordering and
acquiring tooling.This role is based at our facility in Tucson, AZ.
The 1st shift schedule is 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.We are offering a
$2,000 sign-on bonus (paid after completing 30 days of
employment).You will have the opportunity to:Plan and review
machine job by reviewing job packets, engineering drawing,
dimensional specification and tolerance, machining operating
parameters and interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances
(GD&T)Step- up machines, operate machines using established
protocols, perform dimensional measurements to fill production
ordersPerform daily inspection of machines to ensure operating at
optimal condition and help operates and shift supervisor
troubleshoot machine issuesSupport or lead root causes analysis and
implement assigned corrective actionsPerform assigned operational
machine preventative machinesComplete batch documentation
(operation reports, quality logs and SAP entry)Optimize machine
operation to reduce cycle time and reduce defectsPerform task
assigned by operations managerHelp create training program for
machinistReview and update procedures, work instruction and
operational reportsPerform and document machine operators and
machinist on the job training and machine operator and machinist
qualificationWork with machine vendor for technical support,
troubleshooting machine issues and keep current knowledge of
equipment and technologySupport CNC programmer with troubleshooting
and programming CNC and complex machinesBackup CNC
programmerSupport operation and of Gage PackREQUIREMENTS:Minimum of
a high school diploma or equivalentAdvanced training, either
on-the-job or through a training source, on the requirements for
machining complex metal, alloy, or ceramic partsA minimum of 3-5
years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMust be
proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite applicationsMust be
proficient in utilizing computer software, SAP, ETQProficient in
the use of other computers and software packages needed to function
as a productive Machinist in a challenging environmentWillingness
and ability to work safely and follow all Company safety policies
or proceduresSafety conscious, conscientious, detail oriented, a
team player, a self-starter capable of responding to work
requirements with a sense of urgency, and able to work with minimal
supervisionAble to communicate clearly and interface effectively
with a diverse group of employeesStrong analytical skills and the
ability to communicate to all levels of the CompanyHPThe selection
of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the
candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S.
controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction
