We are looking for a Regional Nurse Manager to join our Nursing team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The role will report to the General Manager and work in our location branch.Amerita is an entrepreneurial-founded company and a wholly owned subsidiary of PharMerica. The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.As a core member of the Nursing team, you will be expected to oversee all of the regional nursing operations, including staffing, scheduling, labor costs, clinical care and quality assurance. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and regular career progression discussions.Responsibilities:Ensures that nursing services are provided to patients in a professional and appropriate manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures, state and federal regulatory requirements and accepted clinical standards. Ensures that policies and procedures comply with all applicable regulatory requirements.May require understanding of nursing regulations in more than one state, including ongoing updates and new regulationsOversees patient care coordination with the Pharmacy staff and with outside Nursing agencies as indicated.Participates in the branch Quality Assurance program, assuring that local metrics include nursing quality improvement initiatives. Monitors quality improvement activities and compliance to policies and procedures with QA tools and regular audits.Oversees hiring, competency development, continuing education, performance appraisal, supervision and discipline of nursing staff within the regionOversees coordination of activities of the nursing staff.Provides safe and professional nursing care to infusion patients. Care includes patient education, direct patient care, ongoing clinical monitoring, care planning and care coordination.Ensures 24/7 day availability of nursing care using on-call nurses after business hours. Oversees on-call schedule.Supports sales staff in growing new business by accompanying them on sales calls to discuss clinical services and programs, contributes to the development of marketing tools and programs, marketing documentation, and clinical programs.Develops and presents in-services to referrals sources.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferredValid nursing license in state(s) of practiceThree to five (3-5) years of experience in nursing managementRecent three five (3-5) years of experience in home infusion and home healthExtensive experience in IV therapyCurrent CPR certificationFlexible schedule with the availability to work on-call evenings, weekends and holidays on an as-scheduled basisAbility to travel within the region as needed for nursing program support and supervisory responsibilitiesAbility to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamEffective verbal and written communication skillsValid drivers license and evidence of automobile insuranceAbout our Line of Business: Amerita is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
