  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience.
  • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Active BLS, ACLS, and AZ license or compact
    • Must be able to titrate drips
    • Required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts)
    • Must take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
      • Every other weekend
      • There will be frequent floating to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert
      • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start
      • Floating to different units mid-shift can happen
      • Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units
        • CV Tele B3A - 32 beds, ratio 1:3-4, BLS, ACLS, no patient assignment for charge nurse
        • A3 Neuro - 28 beds, ratio 1:3-4, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
        • MedSurg C5 - 32 beds, ratio 1:4 ratio days and nights, BLS, ACLS
        • MedSurg B2C - 29 beds, ratio 1:4 ratio days and nights, BLS, ACLS
        • Common diagnoses/types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, neuro post-surgical, post-crani, spine, CVAs post TPA, etc.
          • Additional Details
          • MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS
          • Floating is required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any & every holding area
          • They staff the observation floor 1st, then the other units
          • Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes. All interstate
          • Must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus
