  • Job Details
  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
  • The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience.
  • TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!
  • There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
  • Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • An active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact
    • Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7.
      • Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.
      • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.
      • Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: CV Tele B3A, A3 Neuro, MedSurg C5, and others
        • Ratios range from 1:3-4 and 1:4 depending on the unit.
        • Floor specific orientation for each unit.
        • Common diagnosis include post cath lab, vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, neuro post-surgical, post-crani, spine, CVAs post TPA, general MedSurg patients requiring tele.
        • Surgical, Oncology, and other unit details provided
          • Additional Details
          • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required certifications.
          • Travelers will float between all Tele and MedSurg units.
          • Depending on skill level, nurses may float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, and other units.
          • Will float to different units mid-shift and possibly to another campus within a single shift.
