  • A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
    • Job Requirements
    • 2+ years of current tele experience
    • Active BLS, ACLS
    • Active AZ license or compact
    • Able to titrate cardiac drips
    • Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (2 max attempts)
    • Completion of a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7
      • Weekend Requirement: Variable across different units
      • COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD
        • Unit Specific Information
        • CV Tele B3A: 32 beds, 1:3-4 ratio, no patient assignment for charge nurse, centralized tele
        • A3 Neuro: 28 beds, 1:3-4 ratio, NIHSS certification required, common diagnosis include neuro post surgical cases
        • MedSurg C5: 32 beds, 1:4 ratio, floating to MedSurg Tele B2C and B2D, 80% surgical patients
        • MedSurg B2C: 29 beds, 1:4 ratio, general MedSurg patients requiring tele, new grad training unit
          • Additional Details
          • Floating required to similar or lower acuity units
          • First to float could include to sister facility Mercy Gilbert
          • Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start
          • Floating to different units mid-shift can happen
