self-motivated Director of Finance and Accounting (Senior Manager
level) to join our Accounting and Finance team.BeachFleischman is

Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as Nogales, Phoenix, and Tucson,
Arizona, we provide comprehensive accounting, assurance, tax, and
advisory services domestic and international businesses,
organizations, and entrepreneurs.SUMMARY DESCRIPTIONThe Director of
Finance and Accounting is a leadership and management position
responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and monitoring all
financial aspects of the firm. This position reports directly to
the President.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrimary
Responsibilities
- Directly supervises, provides overall leadership and management
for the activities of the Controller, Finance and Payroll Manager,
and Finance and Payroll Coordinator.
- Oversees the collection, recording, processing and reporting of
all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, payroll, general ledger and fixed assets ensuring the
integrity of the financial information.
- Serves as primary resource on accounting transactions,
financial statements, forecasting, and capital and operating
budgeting.
- Presents financial statements to Management Committee and BOD
as requested.
- Monitors the fiscal position of the firm.
- Oversee the preparation of cash projections and manages cash
flow to adequately fund operational needs.
- Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates strategic opportunities;
promotes and facilitates firm, department, office and engagement
management and profitability.
- Ensures adequate working capital and manages line of
credit.
- Recommends, facilitates, drafts, and implements new work flow
approaches, internal controls, policies/procedures, and strategic
initiatives in the Internal Accounting Department based on
observations, research, collaboration with staff and principals,
economic factors, and firm culture.
- Monitors firm standards of performance including write-offs,
write-downs, chargeable hours, collections, net realization, and
other standards and statistics as may be defined.
- Responsible for the effective utilization of CCH time and
billing system.
- Oversees the preparation and review of firm tax returns.
- Manages banking relationships.
- Provides financial analysis and peer comparison performance
measurement.
- Provides profitability analysis.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Consolidated financial statement experience
- Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the
organization
- Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to sort through information, assess priorities, and
resolve problems efficiently and effectively
- Strong leadership skills in managing change, inspiring others,
and problem solvingEducation and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or equivalent degree,
required.
- CPA preferred.
- 8+ years of full-cycle accounting and financial statement
experience.Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a
computer.
- Required to work in office with occasional remote work
opportunities available.
